It’s all change within the officer and committee roles within Burgess Hill Bonfire Society. Jude Reynolds has stepped down from her Secretary role after many years service. Shane Clear also steps down from his position on the Committee. BHBS wants to thank them both for their hard work and service over the several years. We wish them all the best!

Claire Handford takes over the Secretary role, and David Mann reassumes his position on the committee. Donna Williams carries on in her capacity as Membership Secretary but also assumes the role of Vice Chair.
Good luck and we all look forward to working with them in the future.

Burgess Hill Bonfire Society are pleased to announce a second pioneer costume in addition to our famous Aztec costumes. The Aztec costume has served us well since the 70’s. But to make things different and to inject a bit of newness into our ranks, we are pleased to tell you we are adding The Roman costume.

Chair, Gerrie Williams said “It is a new and exciting horizon for BHBS. The Aztec isn’t going to disappear, but the Roman costume will give us a breath of fresh air and something new for the people of Sussex to look at within the ranks. I am excited to see what our members come up with”.
